So you can’t be all theory., you must show the employer that you’re practical You must have websites that you’ve actually designed from scratch. Make sure you have a few sites in your portfolio to make sure you can prove it’s your site.

Ideally, you want to have clients that you’ve made websites for. I’m talking about doing free work here but only on the condition if you get a testimonial from them. To do this, you can go to freelance platforms like UpWork to try and land a client.

Or you can just ring up some businesses and say you will create a website from scratch for them.

Building a personal brand is something that not nearly enough people are doing. And by doing this, you’re going to be giving yourself a massive advantage.

You see, a personal brand can make you be seen as an authority in a particular topic.

I would highly recommend starting a blog and YouTube channel. Put out a bunch of content and really show off your knowledge. In your interview, you can mention this and they’ll be pretty impressed.
