Affiliate Marketing Passive Income (Is it Possible?)

It seems like everyone I talk to who are getting into online marketing wants to do affiliate marketing.

When I ask them “Why?

I always get the reply, “Because I can make passive income.

Beginners think they can throw up a website and start making 10K a month and travel the world.

And this simply isn’t true, at least for beginners. If you’re an experienced digital marketer then you can easily make 10K a month.

But beginners simply won’t be able to do this.

If you’re thinking like this, you’re not alone.

In fact, I use to think I could easily make a passive income with affiliate marketing and boy I was wrong.

It takes a lot of work up front before you can start doing that.

However, I wasn’t like the vast majority of people getting into affiliate marketing. I was actually willing to put in the work.

Most people seem to think it’s easy as clicking your finger and to be honest…

…I don’t blame them.

You see, there are a lot of money making gurus out there who put this kind of crap into your mind.

That you can suddenly make passive income overnight.

Well, that’s simply not true.

Anything worth doing takes hard work.

Don’t get the wrong idea…

…I’m not saying you have to work like crazy (as long as you’ve got access to the right information)

You shouldn’t go into affiliate marketing thinking you’re going to get rich and put in no effort what-so-ever.

Can you make passive income from affiliate marketing?

passive income

Yes, you certainly can make passive income from affiliate marketing.

HOWEVER…

You need to have the right setup.

For example, if you’re planning on promoting affiliate offers on a blog.

You need to make sure that blog is setup correctly and the correct marketing tactics are being used.

If you’re using shady tactics to promote your blog like spamming and promoting crap offers…

…your blog won’t do very well.

You need to build your blog in such a way where it’s seen as an authority in its niche.

I’m not saying you have to set up some big media site.

Like if you were in the bodybuilding niche, there’s no need to make a site like bodybuilding.com to be seen as an authority.

By having an authority blog what I’m saying is:

Remember, you want to genuinely help people.

If people are coming to your blog and not having a good experience, you can forget about making money with it.

The same applies to any platform like YouTube, social media and email.

Content is king, always keep this in mind.

How to start affiliate marketing

It’s actually pretty simple.

Go to a platform like YouTube, blog, email etc. Create helpful content and promote your content.

You might be thinking, “isn’t that a bit oversimplified?”

Well, I guess it is but…

…that’s pretty much the entire concept summed up.

If you want to be able to understand this concept correctly and actually make a passive income…
